Craig Ludtke is the owner and President of Commodity Marketing Co. Inc.  He has been with Commodity Marketing since it’s inception.  Craig has over 30 years of experience in the grain industry.  Before forming Commodity Marketing Company, Craig was the General Manager of Peavey Grain Co. for 12 years.  He was responsible for the over-all management; supervision of employees, and the profitability of Peavey’s inland grain elevators in Minnesota and Iowa.  As General Manager, Craig also oversaw Peavey’s Midwest rail trading office, rail position, and the trading activities of Peavey’s main office.  Prior to managing Peavey’s inland elevators, Craig traded the CIF Corn and Bean desk responsible for Peavey’s barge grain positions on the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers. 

 

Marcus Ludtke is Vice-President of Commodity Marketing Co. and has been with the company since 2001.  He is a graduate of University of St. Thomas located in St. Paul, MN.  He has his Series 3 license for futures and commodities trading.  Marcus is involved in the design and implementation of the company’s risk management strategies.  He is also involved in all day-to-day trading activities, as well as all of the trading decisions that are made.  He communicates with the plants regarding trading, margin, and position performance.

 

Brett Gjovik is a commodity trader that was hired in the spring of 2004 to keep up with the company’s increased business expansion.  He is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and has his Series 3 license for futures and commodities trading.  Brett is primarily involved in the natural gas trading.  He conducts plant site location studies to help in new site development for ethanol plants.  He works with plant communications as it relates to risk management strategies implemented.
